Job Description
▪ Search for suppliers based on price, quality, availability and reliability.
▪ Buy better quality supplies in bulk and distribute them as per departments’ needs.
▪ Analyze price proposals, other data and information to determine reasonable prices
▪ Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for merchandise.
▪ Issue purchase orders as needed, ensuring on time delivery of the required quantities after getting the necessary approvals.
▪ Review and follow up all purchase orders made by concerned parties and departments.
▪ Check market prices regularly to evaluate the open contracts prices.
▪ Collect the invoice, ensure receiving documents and present them to the purchasing manager approval.
▪ Submit the collected payment documents to finance after having all approvals.
▪ Issue purchase report reflecting the status of opened purchase orders and the closed ones.
▪ Follow up purchasing orders and local purchasing activities accurately on daily basis.
▪ Train and mentor department colleagues on the job.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree from any discipline.
- 1 - 3 years of experience.
- Good technical background.
