Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance for packaging materials.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, logistics, and quality assurance to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions and mitigate potential disruptions.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including discrepancies in orders, delivery delays, and quality concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Job Requirements
• 2–5 years of experience in Foreign and local purchasing is a must.
• Strong knowledge of international sourcing, contracts, and supplier management.
• Strong knowledge of international procurement regulations and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
•Excellent command English (spoken and written) is mandatory and French language will be an advantage
