Job Description
The Payroll & Personnel Specialist ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining employee records and providing administrative support to the HR department. This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing:
- Collect and verify timekeeping information.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Process payroll, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Reconcile payroll accounts.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Personnel Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records, both electronically and physically.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Administer employee benefits programs.
- Track employee attendance and leave.
- Prepare HR reports and documents.
- Compliance:
- Stay up to date on payroll laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Other:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Accounting, or a related field.
