Job Description

Job Summary 

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Sales Manager with expertise in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. This position involves driving sales growth, leading a high-performing sales team, and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with leadership skills to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Leadership

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business goals in the UPS segments.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales engineers to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance team capabilities.

2. Business Development

  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and customer segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including contractors, consultants, distributors, and end-users.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define growth strategies for the region or market.

3. Technical & Solution Selling

  • Oversee the preparation of technical and commercial proposals to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Support the team in addressing complex client needs by providing high-level technical and strategic guidance.
  • Engage with clients to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in UPS solutions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve product offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional activities and events.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless execution of sales projects.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage order timelines and inventory requirements.

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports and present them to senior management.
  • Ensure the use of CRM tools and systems for accurate documentation of sales activities.

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of sales experience in UPS segment.
  • Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of UPS systems & critical power systems
  • Strong understanding of power distribution systems, technical specifications, and project requirements.

Skills

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, sales software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driving license and ability to manage customer visits effectively.
