A Service Coordinator 
Is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of services to clients, overseeing the logistics, and managing the coordination of service teams. Below is a typical job description for a Service Coordinator:
Job Title: Service Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Communication:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding service inquiries, scheduling, and updates.
o Maintain positive client relationships by addressing concerns and ensuring timely service delivery.
2. Scheduling and Coordination:
o Plan and schedule service tasks, ensuring that service technicians or teams are assigned to jobs efficiently.
o Coordinate service appointments, taking into consideration technician availability, client schedules, and location.
3. Service Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of services performed, including job details, completion dates, and client feedback.
o Prepare and file service reports, work orders, and billing documentation for completed tasks.
4. Team Support and Coordination:
o Act as a liaison between service technicians and management, relaying any issues or concerns.
o Provide support and assistance to field service teams when necessary, resolving scheduling conflicts or job site issues.
5. Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:
o Quickly address any service-related issues or conflicts that arise, ensuring that problems are resolved to the client's satisfaction.
o Troubleshoot any logistical or operational challenges that affect service delivery.
o Monitor service operations for adherence to health and safety regulations, addressing any concerns with appropriate measures.
o Provide regular updates to direct manager regarding service operations, performance metrics, and client satisfaction levels.
6. Billing and Financials:
o Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure that clients are billed accurately for services rendered.
o Handle any billing inquiries or disputes from clients.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Bsc of electronic or electric engineering 
• Experience: Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or operations coordination.
Work Environment:
• Typically operates in an office setting, coordinating with field teams via phone, email, or project management software.
