Job Description
- Sourcing new suppliers and ensuring that the purchased products and materials meet the required technical specifications
- Identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards.
- Negotiating purchase terms and evaluating the suppliers’ performances.
- Ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and correcting shortcomings
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records
- Conducting market and product research and cost analysis
- Coordinating with the requisitions department to obtain required administrative information and documents necessary for processing the procurement.
- Reviewing and updating the list of contracts and keeping track of their renewal dates.
- Maintain up-to-date records of procurement documents such as purchase orders, bid proposals and vendor reviews.
- Monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand patterns and implementing inventory management strategies to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or excesses.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a purchasing Leader.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills.
- Must be punctual, organized, motivated and detail oriented, multitasking.
- Have experience with Odoo systems.
