Job Description
Job Purpose
To oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, production scheduling, inventory control, and logistics. The role is pivotal in optimizing costs, meeting customer demands, maintaining quality standards, and mitigating supply chain risks.
Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement the supply chain strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
2. Build long-term relationships with reliable suppliers and negotiate cost-effective contracts.
3. Monitor and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
4. Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and establish contingency plans.
Operational Responsibilities
1. Procurement:
Source raw materials (e.g., steel plates, beams, bolts) and negotiate with suppliers for quality and pricing.
Ensure timely purchase orders to prevent production delays.
2. Inventory Management:
Maintain optimal stock levels to balance production needs and minimize carrying costs.
Implement inventory control systems and ensure compliance with standards.
3. Production Coordination:
Collaborate with the production team to align material supply with project timelines.
Resolve any material shortages or overstock issues.
4. Logistics and Transportation:
Ensure timely delivery of materials to the factory and finished goods to clients.
Manage relationships with shipping and freight companies.
5. Supplier Management:
Evaluate supplier performance and conduct audits to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify
bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
Prepare reports for management on supply chain activities, cost savings, and areas of improvement.
Team Management
1. Lead and mentor the supply chain team, including procurement officers, inventory controllers, and logistics personnel.

Job Requirements
Technical Skills
1. Strong knowledge of steel structures manufacturing materials and processes.
2. Expertise in procurement and inventory management systems (e.g., ERP software like SAP or Oracle).
3. Understanding of international and local logistics regulations.
4. Analytical skills for demand forecasting and supply chain optimization.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
Soft Skills
1. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts.
2. Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Problem-solving abilities to address supply chain disruptions.
4. Leadership and team-building capabilities to manage and motivate the team.

Qualifications and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus).
2. 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in steel or construction industries.
3. CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) are advantageous.
