Job Description

  • Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, student engagement, and program recruitment.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee and manage the university’s social media presence across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), ensuring content is aligned with the university's values and goals. Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive engagement.
  • Media Buying: Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across digital channels (Google Ads, social media ads, display networks, etc.) to drive awareness, lead generation, and student enrollment.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use data analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.) to track and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Measure KPIs to ensure digital marketing goals are met.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content and creative teams to develop and promote engaging, relevant content tailored to prospective students, faculty, and the broader community.
  • SEO & SEM: Oversee search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) efforts to improve the university’s online visibility and ranking.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for digital marketing campaigns, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, admissions, and academic departments to ensure digital campaigns align with university goals and initiatives.
  • Stay Current with Trends: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in digital marketing, social media, and media buying to keep the university ahead of the curve.

Job Requirements

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

 

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media channels, media buying, and analytics. Experience in Higher education Marketing is a plus. 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and strategies for increasing engagement and reach.
  • Expertise in using analytics tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and reporting dashboards to drive actionable insights.
  • Ability to develop and execute data-driven strategies and manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creativity and a strong understanding of digital content trends and user engagement.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with tools such as Hootsuite, SEMrush, or other digital marketing platforms.
  • Knowledge of email marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot).
