Job Description
- The Proposal Manager is responsible Planning, scheduling, researching, writing, editing, and producing qualifications documents, proposals, bids, and marketing materials such as brochures, data its, and presentations.
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of the Company's professional image in collateral material and proposals, and in all client communications.
- Responsible for the quality and consistency of the Company's professional image in all client communications, proposals, and collateral material.
- Direct and/or participate in all aspects of proposal preparation including the Development and collection of boilerplate materials (project job descriptions, resumes), technical writing, graphics, document editing, content review, printing, and final document assembly.
- Create and publish market-specific presentations, project-specific qualifications material, and develop and implement proposal and qualifications strategies.
- Opportunity Review/Tracking: Tracks opportunities using corporate tools and methods, and reports on status. Reviews and evaluates requests for SOQs, proposals, presentations, and brochures. Qualifications: Assembles general and project-specific information regarding Project International's qualifications and experience. Provides input to or prepares SOQs, presentations, and brochures.
- Create and publish market-specific presentations, project-specific qualifications material, and develop and implement proposal and qualifications strategies.
- Facilitates proposal strategy sessions, drives proposal schedules, and proactively designs innovative presentations and proposals in keeping with the overall corporate image campaign.
- Proposal Planning: Prepares formal plans for responding to RFPs, including preliminary proposal cost and schedule estimates. Collaborates with Business Development and operations to develop themes, strategies, outlines, budgets, and work schedules.
- Assembles proposal teams and Establish proposal facilities. May assist with identification of proposal consultants.
- Proposal Development: Organizes proposal activities and staff members. Coordinates input from engineering, construction, estimating, planning, procurement, and other appropriate departments. Monitors developing content for responsiveness to the RFP, Company's prescribed win strategy, quality, budget, and work schedule. Edits input as appropriate. Uses various technologies to assure high-quality, find product, completed and delivered to the client on schedule.
- Presentations: Prepares client/opportunity specific, internal, and trade show presentations. Works with Business Development and operations to develop themes, strategies, and content. Applies multi-media technology to convey message.
- Assists in development and execution of marketing and proposal strategies and objectives.
Job Requirements
- Educational Degree & Certificate Bachelor of Engineering; or Project management
- Overall Experience Minimum of 8-12 years’ experience in Proposals and tendering in general construction field ( Infrastructure, Roads, Bridges, Ports, Power Plant Substations, Water & Desalination, Commercial & residential )
- Relevant Experience - Must have the appropriate combination of education, experience, expertise, and competency to perform successfully according to the project’s/contract’s level of financial risk and complexity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
