Job Description
- Analyze and evaluate purchasing requisitions to ensure clarity and completeness in the description of materials and equipment.
- Prepare and issue requests for quotations (RFQs) to qualified vendors, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Review technical and commercial offers, prepare comparative analyses, and coordinate with technical departments for clarifications.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate with project management, finance, and cost control to ensure efficient procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage an up-to-date, categorized supplier database.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
- Ensure compliance with national and international procurement standards and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement within the engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g ODOO ).
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Certification in supply chain management or procurement preferred (e.g., CIPS, CSCP).
- Experience with international procurement and sourcing.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
