Quality - Ensures all stages of the production process are implemented in conformity with the quality specifications and ISO standards
- Provides awareness to employees on waste reduction by treating the products carefully in respects of movement and packaging
Maintenance - Participates with the Maintenance Manager in setting the (annual – quarterly – monthly – weekly – daily) preventive maintenance plan and submitting it for Plant Manager’s approval
- Approves the maintenance needs and supplies in coordination with the Maintenance Manager, Purchasing Manager and Warehouse Manager in order to carry out the maintenance works required for machinery and equipment operation
- Follows up spare parts supply in a timely manner in coordination with the Purchasing and Warehouse departments in order to guarantee the continuity of the Production process
- Participates in the implementation of modern manufacturing systems (Lean)
- Sets the design and execution plan of power and control panels in line with the plant’s electrical transformers capacity in order to avoid overload hazards
- Follows up the implementation of the maintenance plan in respects of (production lines – fleet – machinery – equipment, …etc.) in order to avoid the repetition thereof
- Follows up with the agents in respects of the warranty of generators, pellet presses, boilers, weighing scale units, and silos sensors in order to ensure the implementation of the maintenance thereof in a timely manner
- Reviews the breakdowns analysis of (machinery – equipment – production lines – fleet, …etc.) in order to avoid the repetition thereof
- Follows up the various off-site maintenance works, whether in the central maintenance department or the external maintenance companies
- Participates with the Maintenance Manager in setting the team’s performance appraisal criteria in order to be approved by the Plant Manager
Production - Participates with the Production Manager in setting the (annual – quarterly – monthly – weekly – daily) production plan and submitting it for Plant Manager’s approval
- Supervises the implementation of the (annual – quarterly – monthly – weekly – daily) production plan according to the 6S standards
- Performs the continuous monitoring on production in respects of required quantities, production reports, accuracy of production mixtures preparation, manufacturing process and raw material usage
- Participates with the Production Manager in setting the production objectives in order to:
- Achieve the production plan in a timely manner
- Reduce the waste percentage resulting from the operation process
- Achieve the highest employee productivity (Production per Man Hour) “PMH”
- Approves the production needs and supplies in coordination with the Production Manager, Purchasing Manager and Warehouse Manager in order to guarantee the continuity of the production process
- Reviews and analyze any occurrence of production plan deviations
- Coordinates between the monthly maintenance plan and the monthly production plan in order to complete the maintenance process in a timely manner
- Ensures the optimum utilization of the (machinery – equipment – fleet – production lines)
- Follows up the cost optimization of the implementation of production plans through setting the proper and specific criteria of manpower rationalization, allocation and optimum utilization in order to increase productivity
- Participates with the Production Manager in setting the team’s performance appraisal criteria in order to be approved by the Plant Manager
