Contracts Manager (Water & Wastewater Projects)

The Contracts Manager, will be responsible for managing a portfolio of contracts associated to infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes, from minor capital maintenance programmes to industry-leading projects. Ensuring they are completed, to specification, within the time and budgetary constraints without risk to the health and safety of all concerned, while delivering satisfactory outcomes for all key stakeholders.

• Ensuring all key performance metrics and management outputs are reported
• Ensuring effective post-contract management and administration of the SWW Capital Programme; managing numerous NEC Contracts using the Aconex/Oracle contract platform from pre-contract award to Final Account
• Developing and managing key contract performance indicators and a performance management system for continuous improvement
• Ensuring that contract cost information is reviewed with the Commercial Manager and delivery teams
• Developing expertise in the suite of New Engineering Contracts (NEC3 & NEC4) as a key member of the Strategic Client’s ‘centre of excellence’ in contract management
• Ensuring that contract risk registers are appropriate for the work procured and assigned correctly to the contracted parties
