Job Description

  • Develop, hone, and execute new improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing.
  • Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.
  • Institute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity.
  • Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks.
  • Coordinate deliveries.
  • Create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation in purchasing.
  • Oversee and manage the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of all procurement tools and equipment.
  • Manage the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager.
  • Demonstrable experience managing supply chain operations.
  • Experience using supply chain management software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook….).
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • High negotiation tactics and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
