Job Description
- Develop, hone, and execute new improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing.
- Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.
- Institute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity.
- Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks.
- Coordinate deliveries.
- Create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation in purchasing.
- Oversee and manage the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports.
- Ensure the proper functioning of all procurement tools and equipment.
- Manage the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager.
- Demonstrable experience managing supply chain operations.
- Experience using supply chain management software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook….).
- Management and leadership skills.
- High negotiation tactics and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
