Job Description
Technical office engineer acts as the liaison between project managers, site engineers, and clients on construction projects,providing technical and administrative information to all parties involved in the project. He is responsible for preparing and submitting all required documentation for review and
approval by the consultant as well as checking and approving subcontractors' invoices.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Study the specifications, drawings, and conditions of the project contract.
- Prepare all HVAC calculations (External Static, Pumps Hydraulic calculations, HAP, etc.)
- Prepare all Fire Fighting & Plumbing calculations
- Prepare Coordination drawings
- Attend all the technical meetings.
- Make Value engineering during the project.
- Prepare HVAC , Fire Fighting , plumbing shop drawings , and as-built drawings , and ensure documentation and records in use are reviewed , approved by the consultant.
- Study and prepare requests for information, follow up on subcontractor’s progress.
- Prepare technical and material submittals.
- Manage quantity surveying and change orders.
- Review and issue orders to pay for subcontractors’ invoices.
- Check the quality of the work executed.
- Ensure the implementation of the Project Quality Plan.
- Liaise with consultants and subcontractors.
- Plan and schedule the project activities in liaison with the planning engineer.
- Prepare and follow up the documentation for claims and variation orders.
- Approve drawings, specifications, and submittals and distribute them to concerned parties.
Define and implement corrective actions where deficiencies
are detected.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mech. Power Engineering with minimum Grade: Good.
- 7-10 years of experience
- Professional in using AutoCAD & Revit.
- knowledge of, Naviswork & Dynamo is preferred.
- Comfortable working as part of a multi-team.
- Exemplify strong attention to detail.
- Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
- Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions.
- Abide by our culture requirements from values, traits, and working habits
- Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office and G Suite and engineering design software programs.
- Ability to travel locally, work on-site, and towards tight deadlines.
