Job Description
- Procurement Duties:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company objectives.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and continually scout for new suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and potential risks in the supply chain.
- Logistics Duties:
- Oversee the transportation and storage of goods to ensure timely delivery.
- Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast needs and manage inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement and logistics.
Job Requirements
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of contract law and trade compliance regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (a Master's degree or certifications like CPM or CPSM can be advantageous).
- It is preferable to have experience in the electrical industries sector.
- Experience in shipping, customs clearance, and related government transactions(NAVZA).
