Join ACC as a Procurement Manager – Shape Africa’s Landmark Projects

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our procurement operations. In this key leadership role, your expertise in procurement strategy, supplier management, and cost control will be critical to supporting ACC’s ambitious and transformative developments.
What You’ll Achieve
1. Strategic Procurement Leadership
Interpret contract documents to determine project-specific procurement needs, ensuring full compliance with technical specifications and timelines.
Strategically identify and qualify reliable sources for materials and services across local and international markets.
Develop and implement procurement plans that align with project delivery schedules and budgets.
2. Supplier and Subcontractor Management
Lead the evaluation, selection, and ongoing performance management of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure project standards are met.
Foster strong, long-term partnerships that drive value, quality, and innovation.
Supervise procurement tracking systems and status reports to ensure real-time visibility and control over procurement activities.
3. Collaboration and Compliance
Coordinate with Quality Assurance to address non-conformance issues and to evaluate supplier and subcontractor compliance.
Maintain and regularly update the Approved Supplier and Subcontractor List in line with evolving regulatory and quality standards.
Ensure internal teams are aligned with procurement policies and procedures.
4. Market Insight and Cost Efficiency
Continuously monitor market conditions, price trends, and supplier performance to inform procurement strategies.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or timelines.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery in line with critical project milestones.
5. Documentation and Reporting
Oversee the preparation, review, and negotiation of competitive bids and quotations.
Approve procurement documentation to support audit readiness and financial transparency.
Generate detailed procurement reports for executive management and project leadership.

Job Requirements
What You’ll Bring to ACC
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of procurement experience in the construction sector, with a strong portfolio of large-scale projects.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in procurement management systems and advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of logistics, international shipping, and customs clearance procedures.
Expertise in cost analysis, supplier evaluation, and procurement strategy.
