Job Description
- Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers.
- Identify potential suppliers based on Plant requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and deals, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing.
- Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production.
- Process purchase orders to acquire goods.
- Work closely with the stakeholder’s department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company.
- Cover the scope of Raw materials, Energy, Production services, Spare parts & General services.
- Apply the requirements of the customs authorities as free zone company.
Job Requirements
- Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree.
- From 6-8 years’ experience in the procurement field.
- Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager or Head of Procurement
- Master's degree in purchasing management preferred.
- Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions.
- Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
