Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies, Good Warehouse Practices (GWP), and food safety regulations such as HACCP and ISO standards.
- Oversee receiving, storage, distribution, and maintenance of food products, ensuring proper handling to maintain product quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with food traceability standards.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels effectively, ensuring FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management for perishable goods.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems, optimizing stock management while ensuring the integrity and safety of food products.
- Identify areas for process improvement, focusing on food safety, and implement strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations, with a focus on food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance, including productivity, inventory status, and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Facilitate effective communication between management and warehouse staff, ensuring alignment on food safety protocols.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
