Job Description
- Develop plan and budget for transportation management to ensure achieving preset goals & objectives.
- Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment.
- Developing & updating department SOPs and forms to ensure ongoing operations and adhering to safety standards.
- Ensure efficient fleet management system throughout Analyzing and modify routing system, full truck transportation with each ride, transportation peak time, daily schedule to ensure fully fleet utilization.
- Manage the leasing services in terms of contract, cost, selection criteria to ensure fully utilization and achieving targets.
- Set risk management system in terms of (breakdown, rubbery and accidents… etc) to ensure smooth work operations.
- Visit and meet current clients to ensure service satisfaction and maintain excellent relationship.
- Review and control truck and drivers documents to avoid any penalties to maintain company right.
Job Requirements
- Good cost control and budgeting experience.
- Proven work experience as a Transportation Manager, Shipping Manager or similar role.
- Excellent customer relationship management.
- BSc in Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant field is a plus
