Job Description
- Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders
- Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
- Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
- Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders
- Train and lead subordinates (receiving clerks, order pickers etc.)
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes
- Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
- Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
- Report to management on activities and issues
- Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
- Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
- Recommend process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency
- Supervisenand assist warehouse staff with daily operations :receiving ,storing ,picking and packing
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks and audits
- 3+years of ef experience in warehouse /logistics roles with 1+year in a supervisory or senior capacity
- Support the training and onboarding of new warehouse employees
- Familiarity with WMS (warehouse Management Systems ) and basic computer skills
- KPIS for warehouse staff
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as shipping operation manager Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cargo operations, packing, and shipment preparation.
- Experience in managing warehouse staff, loaders, and packers.
- Familiarity with various cargo types (general cargo, fragile, hazardous, oversized, etc.).
- Basic computer skills to update shipment records and inventory systems.
- Good understanding of budgeting and reporting
- Experience using packing tools (tape machines, strapping tools, forklifts, etc.).
- Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates
- Clear communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and update clients on shipment readiness.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety and cargo handling protocols.
- Ability to enforce safety and cleanliness standards within the packing area.
- Ability to create and review packing lists, shipping labels, and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams for pickup, drop-off, and consolidation.
- Experience in preparing shipments for local and international transport (air, sea, or land).
- Familiarity with cargo securing methods (palletizing, strapping, shrink-wrapping, container loading, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cargo handling procedures, safety standards, and packing techniques.
- Monitor daily packing and cargo readiness schedules to ensure timely delivery.
