Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, designers, and technical staff.
    • Lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all plant equipment.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Conduct performance reviews, set KPIs, and ensure professional growth for team members.
  2. Compliance & Safety
    • Make sure that the infrastructure and facilities comply with regulations of General Directorate of Civil Protection.
    • Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Promote a safety-first culture within the team.


 


 

  1. Project Management
    • Oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, QA, etc.) to align engineering efforts with business goals.
    • Implement best practices in project management.
  2. Technical Oversight
    • Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, CE, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
    • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert guidance.
  3. Budget & Resource Management
    • Develop and manage the engineering department’s budget.
    • Optimize resource allocation (personnel, tools, software, and equipment).
    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve efficiency.
  4. Strategy & Innovation
    • Drive R&D initiatives to enhance product development and process improvements.
    • Identify opportunities for automation, cost reduction, and sustainability.
    • Stay updated on emerging engineering trends and industry advancements.
  5. Budget & Resource Management

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing engineering projects and teams.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) for cross-department collaboration.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
