Network Infrastructure Management:

•  Design, implement, and maintain the university's LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure. 
•  Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability. 
•  Manage and configure network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. 
•  Maintain accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, IP addressing schemes, and configuration details. •
•  Firewall Management and Security: 
•  Configure and manage firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet) to protect the university's network from unauthorized access and cyber threats. 
•  Implement and maintain intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS). 
•  Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. 
•  Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures. 
•  VLAN Configuration and Management: 
•  Design and implement VLANs to segment network traffic and improve network security and performance.
• Configure and manage inter-VLAN routing and communication. o Troubleshoot VLAN-related issues
