Job Description
Database Administration:
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle databases and EBS applications.
- Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning strategies.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place.
Application Management:
- Administer Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments, including cloning, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain application security and user roles within EBS.
- Apply and manage patches for both Oracle databases and EBS applications.
System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify bottlenecks.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application and database performance.
- Compliance with all occupational health and safety standards
Job Requirements
- B.Cs. In Computer Sciences or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
- 1-3 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.
- Experience with integrating Oracle EBS with other systems.
- Exposure to process manufacturing or specific EBS modules like SCM,HRMS, or Financials.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database (12c, 19c, or later) administration.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) and its architecture.
- Expertise in tools like RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Knowledge of Linux shell scripting and PL/SQL programming.
- Familiarity with WebLogic, OHS, and concurrent manager configurations.
- Language: English (fluent)
