Job Description
A new plant on the 6th of October is looking to hire purchasing and logistics specialist with the following requirements:
proven experience in supply chain.
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Contacting potential and current vendors for the assigned categories.
Responsible for foreign and local purchasing and ensuring supplier validity.
Negotiate purchase terms for the needed service.
Responsible for shipping and follow-up customs clearance process
Basic knowledge of the Nafeza system
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Attention to detail
Creative problem-solving
A strategic and analytical skills
Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
Evaluate and report on KPIs
Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
Job Requirements
Fluent in English And French.
Excel is a must.
Living in Giza is preferable.
Ability to work under pressure
Experience Needed: 2 To 5 Years
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
