Job Description
Scope :
Oversees logistics operations, purchasing, and ordering activities, including inbound clearance, customs documentation, and inland transportation. Ensures the timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of parts and equipment, in full compliance with Egyptian customs regulations and corporate supply chain policies.
Job Responsibilities :
- Liaise with local suppliers and assemblers to support and monitor the localization process.
- Establish and maintain coordination with local suppliers and assembly partners involved in the execution of the localization plan.
- Ensure accurate shipping documentation compliance with customs laws
- Maintain records of shipments, delivery KPIs, and work with transport providers to improve performance.
- Prepare and update production plans based on sales forecasts, material availability, and capacity
- Execute procurement activities in alignment with the localization plan and issue Purchase Orders
- Identify material requirements, issue delivery orders, and track local supplier deliveries
- Maintain accurate stock levels, monitor material usage, and coordinate with warehouse teams
- Coordinate closely with the inventory/planning teams to align inbound logistics with production demand.
- Avoid overstocking or stockouts through timely material movement and updates.
- Monitor logistics, clearance, and transportation costs; recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Negotiate better terms with service providers without compromising service quality.
- Ensure transportation methods and carriers comply with environmental and safety standards.
- Coordinate with EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) when required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience; automotive industry background is a plus
- Solid understanding of Governmental regulations.
- Strong command of the English language (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
