Job Description
- Researching and identifying prospective suppliers .
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating Negotiate contract terms, shipping & Payment terms & pricing .
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements .
- Maintaining strong supplier relations .
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns .
- supporting commercial teams with the development and implementation of pricing strategies .
- Evaluating products and suppliers according to business criteria .
- Analyzing industry and demand trends .
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items .
- Continuously expanding the company's Suppliers Database to ensure business continuity.
- Assisting the sales team in providing clients with the best offers and products selection.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar field preferred .
- 2-4 years of experience as a purchasing specialist or in a similar role .
- Having a wide Suppliers Network in FMCG .
- Odoo ERP knowledge is a plus .
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies .
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills .
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems .
