Job Description
Job Scope:
- The Senior Investment Associate will work with experienced Partners on a breadth of VC activities that include deal flow generation, opportunity assessment, transaction execution, and portfolio support.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Networking with startup companies to identify promising opportunities
- Analysis of pipeline companies including researching markets / opportunities
- Interacting with senior management of the startup companies to collect data and perform analysis
- Preparing investment memos and financial models for pipeline companies
- Assist in deal execution and preparation of transaction documents
- Help portfolio companies with different tasks / projects as needed
- Work on various internal initiatives of the fund as needed
Job Requirements
The position is well suited for candidates who enjoy meeting new startups, can quickly learn new sectors and have the following skill-set:
- Passion about entrepreneurship and knowledge of the ecosystem in Egypt
- Financial modeling, especially building financial projections
- Market research and data analysis
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Broad understanding of technology
- Previous startup, investment, or consulting experience is required
- MBA is a plus.
