Job Description

The Business Development Specialist role involves cultivating new business connections and serving as the primary support for our valued clients.


  • Develop a comprehensive growth strategy targeting both financial success and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and manage an active pipeline of potential opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue quotas.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging markets and evolving customer needs.
  • Engage with potential clients through various channels, including phone calls and emails.
  • Organize business meetings with prospective clients to showcase our services.
  • Proactively address client objectives and promote our services effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines when preparing sales contracts.
  • Generate quotes for clients and follow up to convert quotes into projects.
  • Evaluate and process Request for Proposals (RFPs) as needed.
  • Maintain meticulous records of sales, revenue, and invoices.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure a comprehensive repository of relevant sales materials.
  • Deliver on-site and remote presentations to potential clients.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive information about the company, solutions offered, pricing structure, production processes, project management, and customer service.
  • Assist in coordinating and implementing effective marketing strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, customer drivers, and regularly consult with management and stakeholders to refine strategy.
  • Represent Game-Lang at trade shows, expositions, and conferences when required.

Job Requirements


  • Proven work experience as a business development executive in the Translation industry is essential.
  • Previous experience collaborating closely with a marketing team.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful B2B sales, particularly in closing new business.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Effective time management and planning abilities.
  • Organized, self-motivated, with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
  • Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
