Skills And Tools:
- Responsible for promoting the company (mainly specialized in Steel industries and Wire) to existing customers within the export markets, seeking new customers, and new markets for PC strands within export territories.
- Promote the features of the products and services to solicit inquiries and follow up quotations and convert quotes to orders with the aim of equalling or increasing the order intake plan.
- Evaluate and assess market trends, competition and participate in the product, price and promotion and aftermarket services.
- Motivate Distributors and Agents, review customer inquiries (technically and commercially), make technical selections, and cost estimates and prepare quotations to customers and prospects where practical.
- Responsible for marketing, pricing, financing, and reviewing policies from different viewpoints.
- Participate in Implementing tools to improve the professionalism and capabilities of the Export department.
- Monitor the performance of the customers versus budget and propose steps if needed.
- Manage financial, and currency processes and transactions in accordance with policy and law, and optimize the cost-effectiveness of activities.
- Communicate with export-related authorities, and customers, in relevant territories and implement export strategy, and activities consistent with the overall aims and requirements of the organization.
- Supervise and review relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner, for example:
- Shipping schedules.
- Letters of credit.
- Credit control mechanisms.
- Transport and safety documentation.
- Expedites export arrangements and maintains current information on export tariffs
- A Bsc in Engineering (Civil) is preferable
- Experience not less than 6 years (Steel Export trading)
- Substantial knowledge, working with Microsoft applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent substantial knowledge of Internet Skills. (Surfing the web-searching).
