Warehouse Section Head

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Section Head is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse section, ensuring efficient and safe storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This role involves managing a team, optimizing processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management

• Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and support.
• Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.

Inventory Management

• Oversee inventory control procedures, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Operational Efficiency

• Develop and implement processes to improve warehouse operations, including layout optimization and workflow efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess productivity and identify areas for improvement.

Safety and Compliance

• Enforce safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to warehouse operations.

Quality Control

• Monitor the quality of incoming and outgoing products, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Ensure that all handling and storage practices meet quality standards.

Collaboration and Communication

• Liaise with other departments, such as procurement , to coordinate logistics and fulfill orders effectively.
• Provide regular updates to management on warehouse performance and any challenges encountered.

Equipment Management

• Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Identify needs for new equipment and coordinate procurement as necessary.
