Job Description
- Be at the forefront of the company's growth by promoting services to new and existing clients.
- Develop, promote, and maintain long-term business relationships with an expanding portfolio of international clients.
- Meet clients face-to-face to build strong relationships and secure new business.
- Obtain necessary information from customers to complete quotations and offer optimal logistics solutions.
- Provide feedback to the Freight Manager on service/rate requirements and prepare quotations using internal systems.
- Follow up on quotations with clients and agents to secure bookings.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with internal operations teams for efficient service delivery.
- Support export and import processes, and provide coverage for those teams during absences or peak periods.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer-related documents and transactions.
- Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers regarding customs requirements and procedures.
- Assist other areas of the business as needed.
- Handle inbound calls and inquiries professionally.
Job Requirements
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the freight forwarding industry, with a track record of securing new business and nurturing client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a professional approach and strong drive to succeed.
- Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and reliable administrative capabilities.
