Job Description

This Business Development and Support Manager position is a senior position within the organization reporting directly to and working closely with the Managing Director. As such, this position will encompass a wide range of responsibilities measured by achieved business outcomes and objectives.

You will be responsible for a number of business areas ensuring each area is aligned with strategic business direction and performing its functions efficiently and effectively, to enable the company to achieve its targets.

The areas of responsibility for this role are:

  • Business Development & Sales: The objective here will be to grow the revenue for existing streams and develop new streams
  • Marketing & Digital Presence: The objective here is to develop and oversee all external (customer facing) and internal (staff facing) material that has impact on the company’s image
  • Customer Satisfaction: The objective here is to ensure metrics for customer satisfaction and service levels are being met and maintained/exceeded by various customer facing staff
  • Accreditation, Learning & Development: The objective here is to create and monitor staff development plans agreed with their managers to align with company objectives
  • Human Resources: The objective here is to refine (and formalize and establish as needed) various company employment policies and systems
  • Administration: The objective here is to provide support to other areas in order for them to focus on their core objectives and functions

Job Requirements

This position is based in our Alexandria office (Boulkly). The work hours are mainly from 6 AM to 2 PM but in some cases you might be required to attend certain meetings in different time zones, mainly Australia.

You must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing/IT – preferably from overseas
  • Relevant corporate business development experience in a multi-national organization, particularly in preparing RFP, RFQ, RFI responses
  • Experience in managing and mentoring large teams to achieve business outcomes - preferably four years overseas
  • Experience in establishing and improving business processes and procedure
  • Outcomes driven, disciplined and details orientated
  • Embraces change and demonstrates adaptability
  • Results focused & service driven
  • Must be a permanent resident of Alexandria
