Job Description
- Develop and oversee the implementation of preventive, predictive, corrective and routine repair
and maintenance schedules. - Manage and oversee healthcare technology systems, including the CMMS program.
- Prepare all the reports needed as routine paperwork, such as PPM, CM, calibration and letters.
- Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
- Oversee testing, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions for medical equipment.
- Oversee repair companies and follow up on their technical reports.
- Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
- Train clinicians and other personnel on the proper use and maintenance of biomedical
equipment. - Prepare procedures, write technical reports, and make recommendations based on standard
manuals. - Anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipts.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and data security
requirements. - Manage budgets, procurement processes, and vendor and company relationships.
- Correspond with maintenance companies, follow up on the repair work assigned to
them, and maintain business relations with them. - Support review of invoices required for technical assistance.
- Monitoring, coaching and developing the Engineering team members.
- Maintaining organized and detailed maintenance records.
The position is open in various locations in Egypt
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing healthcare technology systems
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with ICU, OR, Medical Gases and Lab equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, procurement processes, and vendor relationships effectively.
- Proven ability to train and support clinical and administrative staff in technology usage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Available to work overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
