Job Description

Your Role:

As a KNX / BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and programming Building Management Systems (BMS) and KNX-based automation solutions. You’ll work on integrating smart building technologies to enhance operational efficiency, occupant comfort, and energy performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure KNX and BMS systems, including sensors, actuators, controllers, and user interfaces.
  • Program BMS components using platforms from Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell, and other major providers.
  • Design detailed automation schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system layouts.
  • Integrate BMS with building systems such as lighting, HVAC, fire alarms, and access control.
  • Collaborate with technical office engineers and project teams to develop customized automation solutions based on client needs.
  • Ensure systems are configured to meet safety standards, energy efficiency goals, and functional requirements.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of systems on-site.
  • Stay up-to-date with smart building technologies, industry trends, and suggest appropriate system upgrades or new solutions to clients.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in automation and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Solid hands-on knowledge of KNX, BACnet, and Modbus protocols.
  • Experience with Schneider EcoStruxure or Siemens Desigo systems is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ETS software and BMS certification is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to install, configure, and commission KNX/BMS systems in real-world projects.
  • Excellent understanding of control systems, system integration, and smart building technologies.
  • Strong skills in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation.
  • Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
