Production Manager - Surgical Gowns & Medical Drapes

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing of surgical gowns and medical drapes. This role requires deep expertise in medical textile production and adherence to stringent healthcare industry standards.
Essential Requirements
Required Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in medical textile production
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical quality standards (ISO 13485, FDA)
- Proven experience managing technical textile production lines
- Deep understanding of antibacterial and fluid-resistant fabric properties
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency with medical fabric types (SMS, Spunlace, Tyvek)
- Knowledge of sterilization and sterile packaging processes
- Experience in quality control for single-use medical products
- Understanding of medical sewing techniques and sealed seams

- Supervise surgical gown manufacturing to precise specifications
- Ensure product resistance to fluids and infection control
- Manage sterilization and individual packaging processes
- Develop production plans to meet hospital and clinic requirements
Quality & Compliance
- Implement stringent quality standards for medical products
- Conduct penetration and leak resistance testing
- Ensure compliance with local and international health standards
- Document production and quality control processes
- Production Planning and Scheduling: Developing and implementing production schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet customer requirements.
- Following up on the delivery of finished products within the agreed period.
- Following up that the product is within the specifications required by the customer and agreed upon with the company management.
- Developing a monthly production plan and updating it weekly.
- Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels to reduce stock-outs and eliminate surpluses, while improving storage and logistics operations.
- Team Leadership: Leading and directing the production team, providing guidance, training and performance evaluation.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to continuously improve processes and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Cost Control: Monitor production costs and look for ways to reduce expenses while maintaining quality.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in medical textile production
Comprehensive knowledge of medical quality standards (ISO 13485, FDA)
Proven experience managing technical textile production lines
Deep understanding of antibacterial and fluid-resistant fabric properties
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and direct teams.
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.
Knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance methodologies
