Job Description

1. Develop and manage detailed production schedules that align with sales forecasts and customer orders.
2. Coordinate with design and engineering teams to incorporate new product designs into the production
schedule effectively.
3. Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure
uninterrupted production flow.
4. Work closely with procurement to forecast material needs based on production schedules and sales trends.
5. Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce
lead times.
6. Utilize lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
7. Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to ensure alignment on production capabilities and
delivery timelines.
8. Facilitate communication between departments to address any issues impacting production schedules.
9. Ensure that all production processes meet established quality standards and specifications.
10. Work with the quality control team to address any quality-related issues promptly.
11. Analyze production metrics and prepare reports on performance, including efficiency, output, and adherence
to schedules.

12. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions regarding production planning and resource allocation.
13. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production planners and coordinators.
14. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement within the team

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • 13 to 16 years of experience in production planning or operations management in furniture design and production industry is a MUST
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of CAD software and furniture design processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
