Job Post: Production Manager - Metal Furniture Factory
Location: Badr City, Egypt
The Role:
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, from raw material to finished goods. You will lead a team of supervisors and production staff, ensuring that our products are manufactured efficiently, to the highest quality standards, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Execution: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to meet production targets and customer deadlines.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the production team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
Quality Control: Establish and enforce strict quality control standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure all products meet our specifications and quality benchmarks.
Efficiency & Optimization: Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and lower costs.
Maintenance & Safety: Ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operational. Implement and enforce factory safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Inventory & Materials: Coordinate with the purchasing and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components. Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production output, quality metrics, and performance to senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a production management role, preferably within the metal fabrication or furniture manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing a large production team.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, including welding, bending, cutting, and finishing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
