Job Summary:
The Production Planning Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing production plans to meet customer demand, manage capacity, and ensure raw material availability. This role requires close coordination with the production, procurement, warehouse, and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, excellent planning skills, and proven experience using SAP ERP.
Previous experience in the confectionery or food manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop short- and long-term production schedules based on sales forecasts and capacity.
- Monitor production performance, adjust plans as needed, and resolve planning conflicts.
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure materials availability.
- Analyze capacity utilization and propose improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accurate data in SAP ERP and generate reports for planning performance.
- Lead planning meetings and communicate with key departments to align operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning.
- Strong experience in SAP ERP planning modules.
- Excellent knowledge of capacity planning, material flow, and scheduling techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in the confectionery or food manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
