Job Description
- Set objectives for the HR team and track progress
- Monitor internal HR systems and databases
- Review and approve or modify budgets
- Design and implement company policies
- Monitor key HR metrics
- Act as a consultant to managers and staff regarding policies and procedures
- Create detailed reports on HR costs
- Recommend new software to address personnel needs, like performance review tools
- Address employees’ queries (e.g. on compensation and labor regulations
- Employee Scheduling & Utilization Management
Develop and implement strategies to optimize employee schedules based on demand
and operational needs.
Ensure high utilization rates by balancing workload, skill sets, and available resources
across departments.
Analyze scheduling patterns and make adjustments to maximize productivity while
minimizing downtime. - Workforce Efficiency Tracking
Track and analyze employee productivity and performance metrics related to
scheduling.
Monitor utilization rates and identify areas where workforce efficiency can be
improved.
Work closely with department managers to ensure staffing aligns with demand and
operational goals. - Data-Driven Decision Making
Use workforce data (e.g., attendance, shift patterns, time utilization) to generate
insights and suggest improvements.
Generate reports on employee efficiency, overtime, and underutilization trends to
provide actionable feedback.
Recommend adjustments to scheduling practices to ensure optimal staffing and prevent
burnout. - Collaboration with HR & Operations Teams
Partner with HR to ensure scheduling is aligned with employee availability, time-off
requests, and labor laws.
Work with operations managers to align staffing levels with project demands and
seasonal fluctuations.
Ensure seamless integration of scheduling tools with other HR systems (payroll, time
tracking, etc.). - Continuous Improvement of HR Operations
Identify inefficiencies in current scheduling practices and propose process
improvements.
Support HR in designing policies that optimize employee productivity and satisfaction,
such as flexible schedules or shift rotations.
Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and well-being
through balanced workload management.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Operations Management, Business Administration,
or a related field - Experience: 2–4 years in HR operations, workforce management, or employee
scheduling roles. - Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with scheduling software and HRIS systems.
- Ability to analyze employee performance data and propose improvements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work across departments.
