Job Description
The role of the Marketing Manager is to design and implement the School’s marketing strategy so that it raises the profile and visual identity of the School . The goal is to drive an increase in student enrollments at the School
Main Duties:
Main Duties:
- Plan, execute and evaluate (track) impactful marketing campaigns to gain new student enrolments and retain current students
- Proactively manage the website, all social media channels and media coverage to strengthen the reputation of NCBIS and increase brand awareness
- Use market intelligence and research to identify new target markets and customers
- Provide information, advice and guidance about studying at NCBIS to prospective students, educational representatives, universities and schools both in Portugal and overseas \
- Produce appropriate marketing tools to influence prospective parents and students towards studying at NCBIS
- Identify ‘news’ value of school, staff and student achievements and activities and actively promote them on the website, social media and newsletters
- Plan and organise Student Open Days, Open Evenings and Taster Sessions for prospective students
- Develop a plan for on-going communication with new enquirers and prospective parents to ensure they feel part of the NCBIS community and to encourage them to enroll their children
- Organise networking and engagement events to enhance the school’s reputation with parents, prospective parents, and the wider community
- Managing and maintaining the creation and maintenance of the customer database
- Work with the Head of School and the Leadership team to ensure clarity on overall positioning/USP’s of the School and effective communication of these messages through marketing tools
- Focus on generating leads and converting them into applicants and enrolled students through providing personable and tailored contact with enquirers and applicants
- Budgetary responsibility for Marketing
Job Requirements
- A Graduate in Marketing or a related discipline
- 5 - 8 years experience within Sales and Marketing
- International exposure – either Internationally educated or an International work history
- Greenfield experience would be preferred
- Business level proficiency in English
- Internationally mobile
- Self-managing individuals are essential, who are driven and achievement-oriented and who come with a successful track record of delivery
- Strong relationship building skills, communication skills and flexibility are essential in this rapidly evolving business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously but also collaborate well with colleagues
