Originally founded in 1978 as the Heliopolis British International School, the New Cairo British International School (NCBIS) is a non-selective, non-denominational international school serving Cairo’s international community. Children from 3 years to 18 years old (Nursery to Year 13) are admitted to the primary and secondary schools. Our Dutch stream admits children aged 2.5 to 12 years old, after which they enter the British system for secondary education.
