About the Job

Main Job Duties:

  • Check reroutes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize costs &to increase Co. profit share.
  • Secure the best ILH rates & Follow up Inbound/Outbound ILH shipments.
  • Send a written offer to clients.
  • Keep a Soft & Hard record for each Job & offer.
  • Receive the shipping declarations from customers and Book with Carriers, Agents.
  • Co-Ordinate with customers & Customs Broker to arrange/prepare the shipment
  • Documents for Customs Declarations.
  • Handle the IMCO cargo handling, OIL field equipment handling.
  • Prepare the final shipping declarations; follow VGM processes with Clients& Carriers.
  • Follow up and review OBLs drafts & Issuing HBLs.
  • Follow up all opened operations & to provide the clients with the requested information
  • About the status of their cargo on daily basis.
  • Handle Import & Export, (Ocean, Air, Inland) FCL & LCL, Sending Pre Alerts to related parties, (International &Domestic).
  • Follow up the Carriers and sub-contractor invoices and compare it with our agreed rates.
  • Issue payment requests to the accounting department attached with related invoices.
  • Receive shipment original documents.
  • Issue a Job account & presented to account department to issue co. invoices.
  • Send a weekly operation report to the responsible Manager.
  • Follow up client’s claims with carriers & to prepare the requested documents to be presented to co. Legal departments if needed.
Job Requirements


  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Be numeric and be able to problem solve under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
  • Familiar with industry standard software and be fully competent in Microsoft Windows.
  • Proactive with a commercial view.
  • Experienced in Process Management & the application of Quality systems.
  • Able to manage change and continuous improvement programs.
  • A team player with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English is essential.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
