Logistics Operation assisstant Manager will oversee daily operation activities, manage and plan both domestic and international transportation to meet customer's satisfaction. He/she will communication with customers, carriers, and internal management staff to ensure to maximize the branch operation to the growth of Samsung SDS .
Job Requirements
- Ensuring an accurate analysis of all offers to identify market trends, collaborating closely with the Sales team and providing regular market updates.
- Obtaining process orders through Sales or in-house clients using the TMS.
- Issuing operations, shipping, and delivery instructions to the involved transport parties.
- Coordinating air/truck/sea cargo pickup/delivery for export/import.
- Arranging export/import space reservations through agents and lines, prioritizing client and company needs.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations in origin/transit/destination countries to prevent delays or penalties.
- Analyzing client documents for hazardous, restricted, or prohibited items, informing superiors/clients of any discrepancies.
- Notifying clients of transport details, customs requirements, and monitoring cargo throughout the shipment process.
- Advising clients on customs duties and VAT for imported goods based on customs broker information.
- Providing delivery confirmations (CMRs) to relevant parties.
- Maintaining real-time updates and accuracy of TMS data.
- Reviewing and approving invoices from agents/suppliers in line with agreed payment terms in a timely and accurate manner to meet performance indicators.
