About the Job
  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Partner with sales/presales teams to create winning proposals for current and prospective clients
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proposed product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
  • Effective prioritization, follow up, and maintenance of strategically assigned leads
  • 20–25% of time spent on outbound sales activity
  • Work closely with the sales team to further develop the lead into the sales pipeline
  • Leverage the CRM and be diligent about managing all data and activities
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain high-level contacts with current and prospective customers and other business and project partners.
  • Analyzing the market to understand competition and measure the need for a specific product.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of enterprise business development experience providing platform solutions.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant experience using current GIS technology and leveraging the full ArcGIS enterprise suite of tools to demonstrate Esri’s patterns of use.
  • Experience integrating software solutions with other business systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Customer-oriented with a high level of professionalism
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose GIS-based solutions for clients
  • Ability to learn new concepts and software programs quickly, retain large amounts of information.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 20-25%
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic languages

Recommended Qualifications

  • Understanding of Esri’s Products and the ArcGIS platform.
  • General knowledge of spatial analysis and how it is used for problem-solving
  • It provides ideas to attract new clients and expand sales.
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence/machine learning concepts
