Job Description
- Assists with sizing and design guidance for fully integrated Data center solutions including (Server, Storage, Network, Security and load balancing)
- Provide architectural, technical guidance and infrastructure design, improvements, and planning to support our customers
- Produce accurate BoM's based on customer requirements.
- Provide validated solutions designs.
- Support partners with relevant product materials and reports for site preparation and competitive information.
- Providing technical explanation/support for sales solutions as per request
- Manage and support the pre-sales process in cooperation with the sales and technical team
- Processing with customer’s requests for pricing
- Participating in client calls with Sales Specialists and Account Executives.
- Translating complex business requirements into solutions.
- Assist Sales Specialists and Account Executives with presenting solutions to client.
- Providing advice regarding architectural questions, product prerequisites, product features, etc..
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key partners.
- Attending key partner events and training sessions.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of enterprise systems engineering / pre-sales experience.
- 7-8 years overall experience.
- Be a self-motivated leader, highly energetic, with a strong hands-on, “can do” approach.
- Knowledge of server solutions as HP, DELL EMC and IBM.
- Knowledge of storage solutions as NetApp, DELL EMC, HP, and IBM.
- Knowledge of Converged Infrastructure solutions as FlexPod and vBlock.
- Knowledge of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure solutions as VxRail,…etc
- Understanding of Server and Desktop virtualization specially in VmWare.
- Knowledge of security solutions as F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Juniper.
- Knowledge of Backup solutions as Veeam, EMC Avamar, VMware Site Recovery Manager, IBM Spectrum,….etc
- Technical emphasis is on hardware capabilities.
- Experience with Data Center management and monitoring software.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision-makers.
- Experienced solving problems with solutions that can address on-premise, Hybrid, to off premise strategies
- Experience with production systems and dealing with production issues
