Job Description
- Design and implement network architectures that meet business requirements.
- Configure and deploy network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Ensure network designs are scalable, secure, and meet business needs.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform regular network maintenance, including software updates and backups.
- Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex issues.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
- Monitor network performance and generate reports.
- Provide insights for improvement and optimize network performance.
Job Requirements
- Experience with Cisco routers and switches, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Cisco IOS.
- Experience with routing protocols, including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
- Experience with Fortinet products, including: FortiGate firewall, FortiAuthenticator, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitches, FortiAPs.
- Knowledge of Fortinet's security features, including threat protection and VPN.
- Experience with Meraki access points and wireless network management.
- Knowledge of Meraki's cloud-based management platform.
- Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Understanding of network architecture and design principles.
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Certifications:
1. CCNA or CCNP certification (Cisco)
2. NSE or NCP certification (Fortinet) - Experience:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in network engineering.
2. Experience working in a similar environment with Cisco and Fortinet products.
