Job Description
Plans and manages facility services such as:
- Housekeeping services to homeowners as required
- Cleaning of public areas, roads, and garbage collection
- Cleaning of guest areas/zones
- Pest Control
- Admin Building-cleaning services
Housing Management of Staff Housing in accordance with the Management Agreement with ASDC (Abu Soma Development Co.):
- Inventory of residential units and their utilization
- Checking in and out residents in the Staff Housing according to the ASDC Housing policy and the ASDC Administration plans
- Custodian of the residential units furniture, equipment and fittings
- Runs change of linens, their laundry and inventory
- Housekeeping of general areas in the staff housing including building entrances, public bathrooms, etc.
- Supervise the cleaning of the residential units as assigned to staff occupying them
- Applying the safety standards and requirements on the staff housing as designated in the relevant policies and/or practices by both ASDC and SBTFM (Somabay Touristic Facility Management)
- Participates in assuring compliance with government regulations and environmental, health and safety standards.
- Manages the services and operational cost within preset budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Presents and manages business plans, including budget plans, capex, as well as utilization of human resources.
- Presents regular management reports of the department services, progress to assigned projects, budget utilization and operational cost, etc..
- Allocates and manages facility space for maximum efficiency.
- As required, oversees facilities refurbishments and renovations.
- Ensures implementing the staff housing policy according to the agreement with ASDC.
- Ensures implementing the company policy with all rental shops, and follows up on rental collections
- Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
- Establishes and manages facility services complain system with response protocols.
- Provide prompt response to requests and issues from occupants.
- Manages, reviews, and negotiate service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met, and to optimize delivery and cost-saving.
- Manages the Housekeeping department, and responsible for the manpower planning, staff performance, and development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in any relevant field.
- Experience in the same leadership position for at least 5 years; or min. 8 years of the same role.
- Hands-on of Project Management, Facility Management, HSE and/or facilities/building commissioning are of preference.
- Excellent command of the English language; both spoken and written. German is a plus.
