Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer (Architectural background) to oversee and manage hospitality projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will bring 15–20 years of proven experience in architecture and site supervision, particularly within luxury hotel or resort developments, ensuring design intent, quality control, and project specifications are fully executed on-site.
*Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary site representative for architectural design and construction activities.
- Supervise and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Monitor quality of architectural works to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and conduct inspections.
- Report progress, issues, and design deviations to senior management and consultants.
- Lead site meetings, coordinate design solutions, and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure timely execution of works without compromising quality and safety.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- 15–20 years of professional experience, with a strong focus on hospitality projects.
- Proven experience in on-site construction management of high-end hotels, resorts, or mixed-use developments.
- Excellent knowledge of architectural detailing, materials, and finishing.
- Strong understanding of building codes, international standards, and project documentation.
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software is a plus.
