About the Job
  • Manage drop shipments from foreign suppliers being processed for our
    customers purchase orders.
  • Checking the inventory needs on regular basis.
  • Confirm the accuracy of invoices, bills and charges relative to the shipment of goods
  • Responsible for placing purchase orders with foreign suppliers and maintaining a record of all the orders
  • Managing the flow up of orders requires strong reliance on monitoring and coordination of delivery pickup and/or drop off schedules from the foreign suppliers both manually and with computer programs.
  • Arranges and organizes orders' pickups with freight forwarders and Maintains and manages delivery schedule.
  • Provide and maintain good customer service and solve problems.
  • Follow up and revise documentation such as packing lists, invoices, bills of lading, work orders and shipping orders.
  • Handling problems with order flow or shipping delays or relevant issues such as damaged or improperly packed goods, as well as day‐to‐day concerns with warehouse capacity and client deadlines.
  • The job will include phone or email interactions with customers.
  • Ensures that all orders are delivered to customers in a timely fashion.
  • Reviews freight rates: air, courier, and land every now and then.
  • Arranges financial transactions with worldwide banks including letters of credit revisions and wire transfers.
  • Log order information and files and/or distributes information as necessary
  • Maintain records and generates reports for accounting and other areas
  • Address routine questions and problems and maintain open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle.
  • Administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of product and quotations.
Job Requirements
  • Excellent English.
  • Intermediate computer skills are required including familiarity with windows based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
  • Additional preference given for experience with SAP or other ERP systems, including data entry and/or collection from such systems.
