Job Description
- Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and material estimates for tenders and ongoing projects.
- Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting of construction projects.
- Evaluate contractor and subcontractor claims and variations.
- Prepare and analyze costing for tenders and provide input into bid submissions.
- Track project progress and measure completed works to prepare interim payment applications.
- Support procurement by preparing material and subcontract packages.
- Analyze change orders and their impact on budget and schedule.
- Maintain updated records of quantities, costs, and variations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in quantity surveying.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and negotiation skills
